Who we are
Sanjeev Mangla Foundation is a registered public charitable trust (Reg. No. 11713, Sub-Registrar Palwal, 2023; NGO Darpan ID HR/2023/0338715), with its registered office at 278, HUDA Sector 2, Palwal, Haryana 121102. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data through sanjeevmangla.org. We handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into our forms:
- Donations: name, mobile number, email, PAN (optional), amount, purpose and the UPI reference number (UTR) of your payment.
- Blood donor registration: name, mobile number, blood group, area, date of your last donation, and your confirmation that you meet the basic age and health criteria.
- Volunteering: name, mobile number, email and how you would like to help.
- Contact form: name, email or phone number, and your message.
- Share a memory: your name, your relation to Sanjeev Mangla, your words and an optional photo.
To stop spam and misuse, we also keep a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your internet address with each form — never the address itself — and use Cloudflare Turnstile as a security check. Our visitor statistics do not use cookies and do not identify you.
How we use it
- To verify your donation in our bank account and email your receipt.
- To contact registered blood donors when a camp or a patient needs their blood group.
- To coordinate volunteers and reply to your messages.
- To publish the memories you send us, after review and with your consent.
- To keep the accounts and records that the law requires of a charitable trust.
- To keep this website safe from fraud and abuse.
We never sell or rent your details or use them for advertising. No card or bank details are ever entered on this website: you pay in your own UPI app, and your bank's and UPI app's terms apply to that payment.
Your consent
We process your details on the basis of the consent you give through the checkbox on each form. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect anything done before. Donation records that we must keep for our accounts are kept for the period the law requires, even after consent is withdrawn.
Who helps us run the website
We share data only with service providers who run the website for us, and only for that purpose: Lovable Cloud (website hosting and database, built on Supabase), Cloudflare (network security, spam protection and cookie-free visitor statistics), Resend (sending receipt and reply emails) and Zoho (our email inbox). Some of their servers may be outside India. We may also share details where the law requires it, for example with tax authorities or under a court order.
What is shown publicly
Only memories and tributes that we have reviewed and that the writer has allowed us to share are published, with the name and relation given. Details of donors, blood donors, volunteers and people who contact us are never published. You can ask us to remove your words or photo at any time.
How long we keep it
- Donation records: as long as needed for our accounts and audits under the law (usually up to 8 years).
- Blood donor registrations: until you ask to be removed; we review the list at least every two years.
- Volunteer details and messages: up to two years after our last contact with you.
- Published memories: for as long as they are published, or until you ask us to remove them.
How we protect it
The website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Only authorised Foundation members can see submitted details, using a login protected by a second verification step, and every change in the admin area is logged. No system is completely secure; if a breach ever affects your data, we will inform you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to: tell you what details we hold about you; correct or update them; delete them; withdraw your consent; or nominate someone to act for you in case of death or incapacity. You can also raise a grievance with us. We aim to reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
Our forms are meant for adults. Blood donors must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 and would like to share a memory or get involved, please ask a parent or guardian to write to us.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser remembers your language choice, and the security check may use a strictly necessary cookie. The admin login uses a necessary session cookie. The map on the Contact page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when the map loads.
